Church School

The goal of the CCC church school program is to be a safe and comfortable space for children to explore their relationships with God. We help them learn about the teachings of Jesus and the Christian tradition. Most importantly, we teach them how to apply those lessons of love to their own lives.

All children in preschool through grade five are welcome to come to church school. It runs from September through May during our regular worship service at 9:30am. 6th, 7th, and 8th graders are invited to be classroom helpers!

Families start the service together in the sanctuary. Partway through the service, the pastor calls the children to the front for a special message. After that, they are dismissed to their church school classes. (The first Sunday of each month is Communion; the children leave a little bit earlier so they can come back to be with their families for Communion.) Parents are welcome to attend with their child if they would like.
